Once in a Hundred Years
Last year, in May we had a time and date of 01:02:03 04/05/06.
At three minutes and four seconds past two in the morning on the fifth of June this year, the time and date will be 02:03:04 05/06/07
Our friends from across the pond, in USA and Canada, get this (almost) “once-in-a-lifetime” event next week.. on Sunday the sixth of May… because of the way they read/write their dates.
Thankfully, we only have 5 more years of people telling us similar facts. At least until 2106, when our great, great grandchildren will be sending the EXACT same information to one another for a further 12 years.
They will probably be able to ‘beam’ it to each others’ personal diary systems built into their brain pods just because they thought of it. I doubt it will be via email or SMS message as it is today, but who knows?
Your thoughts and comments are most welcome.
