Roller Coaster Ride
On my latest visit to the wonderful city of Las Vegas, I was fortunate enough to be able to find the time to ride the Manhattan Express; the roller coaster at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino.
On my 6th ride of the day I decided to take my camera along and video the ride to watch later. It was about 10pm and the city was ablaze with neon, which created a marvelous vista.
A couple of the other thrill rides my son and I rode were:
The Desperado at Buffalo Bills - One of America’s tallest roller coasters with a maximum height of 210ft and a drop of 225ft reaching speeds of 80mph! (To you people that had to learn metric, those heights are 64m and 69m respectively and the speed is about 130kph)
Inverter at the Circus Circus Adventure Dome - “It’s endless flipping at mind-blowing speeds. It’s 360 degrees of constant G force, the likes of which you’ve never experienced.”
I’m looking forward to my next trip to Vegas and another mind-blowing experience on more rides. I have thought about maybe Insanity-The Ride on top of the Stratosphere tower. Here’s the official ‘trailer’ for the ride… anyone want to accompany me on it?
